Guardian – Will Clubbing Survive The Pandemic?

With mass events on the horizon, nightclubs are getting ready to welcome ravers again. But is there such a thing as a Covid-safe crowd – and will it be as fun?

CEO Nick Morgan spoke to @alexliviajones for the Guardian in this piece about the return of events.

“Mass testing seems very unrealistic to me. Imagine how long it would take to test 2,000 people coming into a nightclub. Or 40,000 coming into a festival. You’ve also got to maintain a sterile environment for all those attendees. I just don’t think that’s possible”

“Most events will follow an airport model: you’ll turn up with proof of your Covid status on your phone…”
