We Group delivers 25 live events in 16 days

Over a quarter of a million people enjoyed festivals, concerts and brand activations delivered by We Group in just over a fortnight

Independent festival and live event production collective We Group has delivered 25 live events in the last 16 days, bringing festivals, concerts, placemaking trails and brand activations to more than 250,000 people across London and the UK.

Working alongside leading promoters, artists and brands, teams from We Group’s agencies The Fair, We Are OPS and We Are Placemaking delivered a back-to-back programme of events, bringing over two decades of expertise across event production, operations, health & safety and live event management.

This back-to-back stint kicked off with Labyrinth on the Thames – a sold-out series of live events that returned to London’s Old Royal Naval College this summer following a landmark debut last summer.

Delivered in collaboration with Labyrinth Events, this year’s sold-out, eight-date series welcomed The Kooks, Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, Overmono, Adriatique, Anjunadeep, Moby and Michael Bibi to headline the 17th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site, bringing some of the world’s biggest artists to this historic setting, overlooking London’s skyline across the River Thames.

Meanwhile, at Burgess Park, We Group delivered six events in collaboration with Elixar Events, continuing a long-standing partnership dating back to 2017. The series opened with two editions of Boiler Room, in which the global brand showcased a variety of acts – from Basement Jaxx, Charisse C and Riria on Friday, to Yung Lean & Bladee, The Dare and Teletech’s 999999999 on Saturday.

Sunday flowed into the third edition of Jazz Café Festival, produced by We Group since its inaugural edition. From Greentea Peng and Ari Lennox to Kofi Stone and Dan Shake, the festival brought together the sounds and culture synonymous with London’s iconic Jazz Cafe venue, through a wide-ranging mix of jazz, R&B, soul and electronic music.

A second weekend of events at Burgess Park welcomed Miniteca, a brand-new, free festival celebrating South London’s Latin American and Portuguese communities, with Buraka Som Sistema – pioneers of the high-energy Angolan dance music genre Kuduro – headlining in one of their first performances in almost a decade. This was followed by two sold-out festivals: Maiden Voyage, a celebration of London’s underground club culture that was listed by Resident Advisor among its top 10 festivals for August; and Eastern Electrics, which made a much-anticipated return after a fallow year, offering a stacked line-up featuring The Martinez Brothers, East End Dubs, Groove Armada and Jamback, among many others.

London Heritage Quarter’s city-wide lion trail, unveiled by Harry Redknapp and Fara Williams MBE to celebrate England’s summer of international football, will run until 10th August 2026. Visit www.london-hq.co.uk for more information. Pictured in Victoria Tower Gardens, London.

Football remained front-and-centre this summer as the World Cup gripped the nation. To celebrate this – as well as pride, culture and community – We Group partnered with Business Improvement District [BID] London Heritage Quarter to produce a free public art trail featuring 17 hand-painted lion and lioness sculptures across Westminster, London.

The trail was officially unveiled by ex-football manager Harry Redknapp and Lionesses most-capper player Fara Williams MBE, who revealed the first sculptures against the backdrop of Trafalgar Square, with each sculpture individually designed by an artist to celebrate the people, stories and communities that shape modern London.

The trail has proved so successful in encouraging people to explore locations across the BID’s footprint that it has been extended and will continue until September 2 – with the sculptures now being auctioned to raise funds in support of homelessness charity The Passage.

Beyond London, We Group collaborated with independent promoter Supermodified across seven events in Canterbury and Borde Hill. The Canterbury Live series offered a mix of nostalgia, dancefloor anthems, and general upbeat energy across the events, with JLS, Becky Hill and Madness headlining St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury. The Borde Hill Summer Series, held at the Grade II* listed garden in West Sussex, featured performances from Nile Rodgers & CHIC, McFly and Becky Hill, before concluding with We Are Family Sussex, the UK’s first all-inclusive festival for children with free fairground rides, interactive attractions, bottomless soft drinks and hourly themed parades.

Over in Cambridge, We Group’s We Are OPS team once again provided health & safety support at Cambridge Folk Festival, one of the longest-running and most established folk festivals in the world.

We Group prides itself on delivering a vast range of live events – brand activations included. For travel eSIM company Airalo’s latest campaign, We Group partnered with advertising agency DUDE London to deliver the “Tourist Trap” in Central London. Located in Potters Fields Park by the iconic Tower Bridge, a giant croissant was installed under a mouse trap to tempt passers-by to step inside and highlight how travellers can get caught out by expensive roaming charges. Later that month, car brand CUPRA invited Chase & Status fans to experience an exclusive, Friday night performance at Electric Garden, to celebrate the UK arrival of new all-electric car, the CUPRA RAVAL. We Group’s operations agency We Are OPS partnered with creative communications agency Vampire Studios to deliver the event for CUPRA, providing venue finding, operations and health & safety services throughout the planning, build and live stages of the event.

Throughout the 16-day period, We Group’s teams managed a continuous programme of builds, live events and breakdowns across multiple locations, often moving directly from one production to the next.

The run comes during a period of continued growth for We Group, as the company expands its presence in the US while continuing to deliver a diverse range of live events across the UK. Earlier this year, We Group produced and marketed Winter Music Conference, the world’s longest-running electronic music conference in Miami. Following a sell-out success, the productive collective has announced its continued partnership with Ultra Music Festival to bring Winter Music Conference back again in 2027, with early bird badges now on sale.

Nick Morgan, CEO of We Group, said: “Delivering 25 events in 16 days is no easy feat, and is a real reflection of the breadth of work happening across We Group.

“A huge amount of planning and coordination happens behind the scenes to make festivals, live events and brand activations like this possible, and it is a testament to the experience, commitment and collaboration of all teams involved.

“We’re proud to work alongside some of the world’s most celebrated promoters, brands and organisations, and we’re looking forward to continuing that momentum – in the UK, US and beyond.”
