Turf Games 2021

Background

Turf games began in 2017 after a group of London-based fitness enthusiasts came together to lessen the solitude of working out alone. The group recognised the power of team sport and training together and after a series of smaller team events, demand grew, and a gap in the market was evident. Turf Games incorporates competitive, functional fitness with a social aspect and party once the games have ceased. Since its inception, the games have travelled globally to form festivals, city series and training days.

Challenge

2021 was the biggest year for the event. See below for some of the challenges we faced:

  • Managing suppliers onsite, power, audio, fencing etc.
  • Power specifications.
  • Trader management.
  • H&S auditing and management.
  • Event scheduling.
  • Site design for traders & activations.
