A familiar favourite within The Fair, Labyrinth Open Air – returned bigger than ever for 2025. The event series welcomed up to 5,000 guests to Bedforshire’s Tofte Manor each day, retaining the intimate feel that has long made it a favourite among audiences.
Across three live shows, the festival headliners included electronic heavyweights Boris Brejcha and Argy, an extended set from Sasha & John Digweed, and the iconic Madness. Each brought their own magic, with audience members donning venetian masks, duck hats and vintage memorabilia. We even saw a madness tattoo!
Having worked with Labyrinth Events on Tofte since 2021, we delivered end to end production across site design, supplier procurements, budget management, safety and operations. No year is the same, as we continue to develop and respond to the ever changing environment that is festival production.
Hot weather: From one extreme to another, last year we tackled wet weather and this year we tackled the scorching sun. With temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees, we had to redesign fence lines to include more shaded areas, as well as bring in more water refill points to keep audiences hydrated.
Wasps: Wasps, wasps, wasps! Several wasp nests had to be safely removed during the build so we could reduce the risk of people being stung.
Site Design: An increased capacity meant rethinking site design. We needed to create room to dance, sit and relax, whilst integrating larger stages, extra bars and toilets. Not to mention a whole host of exciting sponsors: Pimentea, Peroni, Dead Man’s Fingers.
‘With plenty of space to unwind, excellent food options, and an efficient bar service, the recipe had clearly been well thought out. Smooth and well organised, from start to finish.’ Electronic Grooves Magazine
‘The festival was impeccably organized, with plentiful food and drink options, merchandise stalls, first aid facilities […] Public transport was well-coordinated, with shuttle buses running efficiently to and from Bedford station. […] The concession and security staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.’ All Music Magazine
