Curious about how Labyrinth on the Thames came together?
We Group CEO Nick Morgan spoke to Access All Areas about producing this landmark series of shows at Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College (ORNC) and what it took to deliver one of the year’s most talked-about events.
The feature highlights how The Fair and We are OPS worked with Labyrinth Events to bring large-scale electronic music to the iconic ORNC, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for the very first time. Over six days, 57,000 fans gathered by the river to see world-leading DJs against one of London’s most breathtaking backdrops.

In the article, Nick shares the unique challenges of producing a large-scale event within a UNESCO site, from safeguarding its historic grounds to coordinating every truck, crew and movement through a single entry point. “The level of planning was probably double that of a greenfield site,” he says.
Nick also reflects on the incredibly positive response from audiences and the wider industry. “I’ve never seen that sort of feedback from shows,” he says. “We try to make all our shows special, but being there in that environment, it was at the next level.”
Huge thanks to the Access All Areas team for featuring this incredible project, and for spotlighting the planning, production and collaboration that went into making Labyrinth on the Thames a standout success.
