We’re delighted to have been featured in Access All Areas Magazine, recognising We Group’s role in delivering the inaugural Halo Festival and highlighting the collaborative expertise of our teams at The Fair and We Are OPS.
We Group supported Halo as it entered the live events sector for the first time. With no previous experience of producing a large-scale festival, Halo needed an experienced event partner capable of turning its vision into a professionally delivered live event.
Designed to champion the Suffolk county town of Ipswich, the festival brought together world-class live music, independent food and drink, and local businesses to create a new large-scale event for the region. The sold-out festival featured performances from internationally recognised artists alongside local talent, with headline performances from Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines, Natasha Bedingfield and Scouting for Girls. The festival received widespread praise from attendees, artists and the local community.
The Fair and We Are OPS led the festival’s production and operations. The Fair provided end-to-end event production, covering event planning, production management and live delivery. Alongside this, We Are OPS delivered licensing, Safety Advisory Group (SAG) liaison, security, traffic and medical management planning, and health & safety services, ensuring the festival ran safely and smoothly.
As highlighted in the Access All Areas feature, Halo recognised the importance of selecting an experienced delivery partner for its first live event, Tom Cole, Halo brand executive said: “From our first conversation with [We Group CEO] Nick Morgan, it was clear that The Fair was the right fit. They understood what we were trying to build and guided us through the entire process with real care and expertise.”
