Beatport Live: Pool Party Series at Winter Music Conference x Miami Music Week
Background
In March 2026, We Group became the producer of of Winter Music Conference (WMC) – the world’s longest running electronic music conference, which takes place during Miami Music Week.
We wanted to create a conference that not only educated and inspired but also offered attendees an opportunity to connect and experience world-class electronic music in an unforgettable, open-air setting.
That’s why we partnered with Beatport, the world’s largest DJ store, to deliver a three-day pool party series. Hosted at the iconic Kimpton EPIC Hotel in Downtown Miami – where WMC also took place – the series transformed the hotel’s rooftop pool deck into a daytime series of label showcases, overlooking the Miami skyline.
The pool parties showcased three of electronic music’s most respected labels to curate bespoke events: Mood Child, Rekids and Hot Creations featuring performances from globally recognised artists including Skream, DJ Sneak, Danny Tenaglia, Radio Slave, DJ Minx, Mandy Moor and Sirius Hood, attracting a combined audience of up to 1,000 attendees per day.
We brought our expertise in event production, stakeholder management, audience engagement and marketing together to deliver a seamless extension of the WMC experience – liaising with local authorities, police and key industry partners including L-Acoustics and AlphaTheta to ensure the successful delivery of the series.
