Mostly Jazz festival will certainly bring the noise to Moseley Park this weekend. Here’s what to expect at the event which kicks off on Friday 10th:
The peaceful charity-preserved park at the heart of the trendy south Birmingham suburb, will be transformed from July 10 to 12 into a joyous, good time coming together of music and dancing, courtesy of Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival.
The regional festival has secured its strong name as one of the most jazziest boutique festivals of the summer. Mostly Jazz’s reputation is not only by the quality of the music programming but past visitors such as; Nile Rodgers and Chic, Mavis Staples, Booker T, Snarky Puppy, The Sun Ra Arkestra and George Clinton’s Parliament- but also by its extremely happy and peaceful setting in the natural amphitheatre within this special park.
The festival’s original accent on jazz has been expanded over the years into a happy meeting and overlapping of genres where all that matters is that the music pulses with excitement.
If you didn’t already know, Public Enemy are headlining the Friday night and you’ll be silly to miss it!
